About AI4Px

AI Tools Created By Prosthetists For Prosthetists

AI4Prosthetics, also known as AI4Px, is developing practical AI tools for prosthetic professionals. Our goal is to help prosthetists, residents, students, technicians, educators, researchers, and related clinical teams search and review prosthetic information more efficiently. DULPA, our first platform, is focused on upper-limb prosthetics and is designed to support learning, research, source review, and professional reasoning — not to replace clinical judgment or patient-specific evaluation.

Mission

Improve access to prosthetic knowledge.

Our mission is to develop responsible AI tools that support prosthetic care, education, research, and innovation by improving access to high-quality, clinically relevant information.

Vision

Keep human expertise at the center.

Our vision is a future where prosthetics professionals can use intelligent digital tools to search complex information, compare options, strengthen clinical reasoning, and support better outcomes while maintaining professional judgment at the center of care.

What AI4Px is building

A focused platform, not a generic chatbot.

The first AI4Px product is DULPA, the Digital Upper Limb Prosthetic Assistant. DULPA is being developed as a focused prosthetic information assistant for upper-limb concepts, clinical considerations, terminology, and source-supported learning.

AI4Prosthetics is the parent platform.

AI4Px defines the broader mission: responsible AI tools for prosthetic care, education, research, consulting, and collaboration.

DULPA is the first product.

DULPA is the beta-stage Digital Upper Limb Prosthetic Assistant. It is currently restricted to selected beta testers while feedback is collected and the user experience is refined.

Values

Simple principles for responsible prosthetic AI.

Clinical responsibility

AI tools should support, not replace, professional clinical judgment and appropriate patient-specific decision making.

Evidence-informed design

Information tools should be grounded in reliable prosthetic knowledge and should make source quality an important part of the user experience.

Practical usability

Tools should be clear, fast, and useful in real clinical, educational, technical, and research workflows.

Professional collaboration

AI4Px should grow through feedback from clinicians, technicians, residents, students, researchers, educators, and industry partners.
